A couple of years ago I decided to start a scrapbook of the Cap’n and I and the events we’ve gone to. Or at least the ones we have photographed. I’ve saved up stickers, papers, and other such things to use in my book. I’ve gotten papers in blacks, browns, and tans to be the base pages for the book and a wooden front and back cover. I painted the wood pieces, punched each and every hole into the pages to make them fit the posts, but I don’t actually have any photos printed out for it.
So for the past few days I’ve been going through the digital photos I have, re-editing many of them, and sizing them properly to be sent to the lab. It’s really a lot of fun going through the pictures and remembering what we were doing four years ago. And after seeing so many of the old photos, I miss my long hair! I really can’t wait for it to grow out again in what will probably be another year. Anyway, I’m very much looking forward to putting my collection together after however-long I’ve been stashing these pieces. It will be my first scrapbook, and I’m already looking forward to sharing it with my thus far nonexistent children.
