The Green and Brown Leather Hourglass Underbust Corset is excellent for Renaissance, Pirate, and Steampunk costuming. This beautiful corset design is what we’re calling our Sherwood Forest corset! Wear with a chemise and Renaissance skirt for a Renaissance styled outfit; layer over a dress for a Fantasy look; wear with a chemise and layered pixie skirts for a Pirate style; or wear as a part of your Steampunk adventuring ensemble!
The exterior layer of this corset is made of alternating panels of green and brown leather and is laced with coordinating green ribbon lacing at the back and at the hips. The busk and grommets of this corset are in antiqued brass to pull its aesthetic together. This corset is comfortable and supportive, with 20 flexible spiral steel bones, a steel busk with two flat steel stays for extra front support, and four flat steel stays to support the back grommets. Constructed with three layers of fabric: two inner layers of sturdy cotton twill, waist tape, and the leather outer layer. There are four garter loops (no straps included) attached at the inside bottom seam.

Our classic silhouette has a 4″ rib spring and 7″ hip spring when the hip ties are closed. (This is the difference between the circumference of the ribcage or the hip measurement compared to the waist measurement of the corset when fully closed.) Our steel-boned corsets are intended to be worn with a one inch gap or more between the laces after cinching.
