Darwin Prophet, an Austin Steampunk musician, recently fell from a ladder and broke an arm and a leg. With her ability to perform hindered, The Mysterium is putting together an event that should be fun for all while helping Darwin pay her bills! Come shop with local artists while listening to live music to help out this talented lady!
This coming Saturday and Sunday! I’ll be there with Hair Jewels, Mini Cloaks, and the new lace capelets that I have yet to take pictures of. This is the perfect opportunity to buy Christmas gifts (there goes my resolve to not speak of X-mas until after Thanksgiving…) for anyone you know interested in Steampunk, as well as getting a few accessories for yourself before Elysium’s next event! Saturday from noon til 6 pm is the Steampunk Saturday Market outside of the Mysterium in Austin, TX! I’ll have a table as one of the vendors, so come hang out in your Steampunk wearables and grab some new ones too!

Tomorrow evening, Elysium of Austin, Texas will be hosting the Badlands Steampunk Saloon Shindig! Entry is only $4 in costume for 21 and up and $7 without costume or under 21.
There will be vendors, poker, a burlesque show, a costume contest, and of course music and dancing! A slight change from the poster, doors will open at 7 pm.

Saturday night will feature the next Steampunk Ball at Elysium in Austin, Texas! I’ve donated two Pirate Hair Jewels into the prizes for best attire, one strand of green and one strand of red. I plan to make it to the ball, but I’m not sure I’ll have the energy necessary after working the day out at Sherwood Forest Faire. So, if I do make it, I’ll be decked out in my Pyrate garb instead of my Steampunk attire!
