Darwin Prophet, an Austin Steampunk musician, recently fell from a ladder and broke an arm and a leg. With her ability to perform hindered, The Mysterium is putting together an event that should be fun for all while helping Darwin pay her bills! Come shop with local artists while listening to live music to help out this talented lady!

This coming Saturday and Sunday! I’ll be there with Hair Jewels, Mini Cloaks, and the new lace capelets that I have yet to take pictures of. This is the perfect opportunity to buy Christmas gifts (there goes my resolve to not speak of X-mas until after Thanksgiving…) for anyone you know interested in Steampunk, as well as getting a few accessories for yourself before Elysium’s next event! Tomorrow evening, Elysium of Austin, Texas will be hosting the Badlands Steampunk Saloon Shindig! Entry is only $4 in costume for 21 and up and $7 without costume or under 21.

There will be vendors, poker, a burlesque show, a costume contest, and of course music and dancing! A slight change from the poster, doors will open at 7 pm.
