The Union Jack Steampunk Underbust Corset is excellent for Airship Pirate and Steampunk costuming. One half is a micro-suede blue with red and white ribbons to simulate the British flag, with the other half a tan canvas with antiqued brass studs. Laced with blue and tan ribbons.

This corset is comfortable and supportive, with 20 flexible spiral steel bones, a steel busk with two flat steel stays for extra front support, and four flat steel stays to support the back grommets. The classic silhouette corset is designed to sit right at the hipbone on most wearers, and has a contoured underbust line to accentuate and slightly lift the bust area. Constructed with three layers of fabric: two inner layers of sturdy cotton twill, waist tape, and the micro-suede and canvas outer layer. There are six garter loops (no straps included) attached at the inside bottom seam.

Our classic style has a 4″ rib spring and 7″ hip spring. (This is the difference between the circumference of the ribcage or the hip measurement compared to the waist measurement of the corset when fully closed.) Our steel-boned corsets are intended to be worn with a one inch gap or more between the laces after cinching.
